Must-See Instrumentation Innovation at JASIS 2016: J200 Tandem LA-LIBS

Applied Spectra, Inc. and Hakuto Co., Ltd. are ready to highlight a game changing LA solid sampling innovation at JASIS 2016 in the International Conference Hall, Makuhari Messe, in Chiba, Japan.

A live demo of J200 Tandem LA – LIBS Instrument will be performed at Hakuto’s Booth 7A-404. The exhibit runs from September 7-9, 2016.

Visit our booth to learn about the latest advances in direct LA solid sampling that the J200 Series Instruments are enabling for a wide range of analytical applications that include geochemistry, metallurgy, energy storage materials, bio-tissue, plastics, thin films, and forensic evidence.

Notable New Technology Presentation at JASIS 2016

Title: Tandem LA-LIBS: Powerful Direct Solid Analysis for Wide Range of Analytical Applications

Highly innovative LA solid sampling instrumentation for ICP-MS is highlighted. J200 Tandem LA-LIBS technology integrates the analytical capability of LIBS (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) into LA solid sampling for ICP-MS.

This instrument allows the simultaneous measurement of LIBS and LA-ICP-MS with a single laser solid sampling.  Its advantages include an ability to measure organic and halogen elements and increased dynamic range for the analysis of metals, thin films, energy storage materials, nuclear and ecological samples.

Speaker: Dr. Jong H Yoo, Executive Vice President, Applied Spectra, Inc.

Date: September 8, 2016

Time: 12:15-13:05pm

Location: Room A-10, Tokyo Bay Makuhari Hall
