| Register and join our 2nd joint workshop to learn about the fundamentals and analytical applications of LA (Laser Ablation) ICP-MS and LIBS. The educational workshop involves discussions on elemental coverage, detection limits, and spatial resolution of LA-ICP-MS and LIBS with respect to other analytical techniques (such as XRF, SEM-EDS, etc). The workshop also covers typical sampling methods for bulk quantitative analysis and spatially resolved analysis such as elemental mapping and depth profiling. The specific advances in LA and LIBS instrumentation, ICP-MS technology, and data processing software will be discussed along with analytical application examples in the area of geoscience, Li-ion battery manufacturing and failure analysis, forensics, metallurgy, bio-material imaging as well as nuclear materials. Attendees will have a chance to see how the instrument operates with example measurements with Applied Spectra J200 Tandem LA – LIBS Instrument and Agilent 7900 ICP-MS. |
