Workshop on Tandem LIBS/LA-ICP-MS at BAM
November 18th to 19th, 2019, at Berlin-Adlershof
LIBS and LA-ICP-MS are well established techniques for surface analysis. Although these techniques have lasers in common, they evolved
separately. The recent merge of both analytical techniques by tandem instruments combined by chemometrics opens new horizons on the analysis of materials.
The BAM together with the German Working Group for Analytical Spectroscopy (DAAS) and Applied Spectra Inc., organize the first workshop
on tandem LIBS/LA-ICP-MS in Europe to bring into dialogue experts of both techniques (optical and mass spectrometry) to share their experiences and
common issues for an efficient tandem analysis.
Location and Address
Lectures and instruments demonstration will take place at the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und –prüfung (BAM) in Berlin-Adlershof.
Address:
Richard-Willstätter-Straße 11, 12489 Berlin, Germany
