MRS Spring Meeting a Success for ASI’s Team of Experts
San Francisco, Calif. (April 29, 2011) — Applied Spectra, Inc., the experts in laser ablation material science, reached out to numerous scientists, educators and researchers at the Spring Meeting of the Materials Research Society (MRS).
Our booth, # 535 at Moscone Center, was busy with attendees interested both in LIBS (Laser-induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) and laser material interaction in general.
Technical Presentation on LIBS for Isotopic Analysis
Dr. Alexander Bolshakov, Senior Scientist at Applied Spectra, gave an oral presentation at the MRS Technical Symposium. The topic, “A New Experimental Technique for the Isotopic Determination of Boron in Neutron-related Nuclear Radiation Detection Materials,” covered an exciting new dimension in LIBS analysis: real-time isotope determination in ambient air.
Those unable to attend may contact Dr. Bolshakov at ASI Email to request more information about the technical presentation.
