About the 11th European Workshop on Laser Ablation

The European Workshop on Laser Ablation (EWLA) is a biennial event for exchange of ideas and recent research results between scientists who are interested in analytical applications of LA-based methods (e.g. LIBS, LA-ICP-MS. LA-ICP-OES, LA-MS) in all fields of elemental and isotopic analysis. Moreover, the Spanish Workshop on LA-ICP-MS is considered a platform to promote the collaborations between scientists and professionals, and to show the applications and investigations in this technique.

In order to accentuate the inter-disciplinary character of these workshops, both application-oriented as well as fundamental research will be addressed. The intention is to provide a lively discussion environment within the LA community, and to enhance communication between beginners and experienced LA users.
