Dr. Rick Russo Presents Technical Seminar on LIBS and LA-ICP-MS at Applied Materials
FREMONT, Calif. (November 2, 2010) — Applied Spectra’s President and CEO, Richard Russo, Ph.D, presented a company-wide Distinguished Speaker Engineering & Technology seminar today at Applied Materials, Inc.
During the seminar, entitled “Real-time, In Process Chemical Analysis for Clean Energy Manufacturing,” Dr. Russo provided an overview of LIBS and LA-ICP-MS * technologies, in which he described the fundamental principles, recent advances and commercially available systems, along with several industrial applications for LIBS and LA-ICP-MS. This seminar has the honor of being the highest level technical seminar at Applied Materials, organized by the office of CTO and hosted by key product groups.
