Applied Spectra’s Dr. Alexander Bolshakov Speaks at Pittcon 2010
February 28 – March 5, 2010, Orlando, Florida
Dr. Alexander Bolshakov, Senior Scientist at Applied Spectra, spoke at Pittcon’s 2010 Conference. His topic was “Material Composition Analysis and Surface/Depth Profiling with a Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectrometer (LIBS).”
In addition, ASI’s Dr. Jhanis Gonzalez presented a poster titled “Femtosecond Laser Ablation Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry: The Ultrafast Road to Routine Solid Samples Chemical Analysis.” The poster was co-authored by Dr. Richard Russo and Dr. Jong Yoo — both members of ASI’s scientific team — together with colleagues from Lawrence Berkeley National Lab.
Pittcon is a laboratory science conference and exhibition, organized by The Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy, a Pennsylvania not-for-profit educational corporation. Over 20,000 people were expected to attend.
